Our office is in the Birla Brothers building at 15 India Exchange Place in Kolkata. We are on the second floor at address C-8 in Sector-8. This part of Kolkata is very old and always full of people and traffic. The building itself has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk through the corridors. We have been here for a long time, handling various engineering projects. Our office is quite traditional, with old wooden furniture and plenty of paper files everywhere. We don't have the modern glass partitions or bright lights you see in newer areas. Instead, we have ceiling fans and large windows that let in the city noise from the street below. Most of the staff here have worked together for many years, so there is a very familiar feeling to the place. We usually start the day with tea and a quick talk about the current jobs. The heat in Kolkata can be quite something, but we just get on with it. We spend our hours doing technical drawings and managing project details. It is a very grounded environment. We don't really do anything for show. If you come by, you will see us just working at our desks or talking on the phone with clients. It is a simple, steady way of running an engineering firm in the heart of the city.
