S. S. Engineering Corporation

The workshop at D- 123 in Sector- 7 is usually pretty loud. That’s just the way it is at S. S. Engineering Corporation. There is always some machine running or someone banging on metal. We’ve got lathes and drills and all sorts of heavy equipment taking up most of the floor space. It gets quite hot in the summer, even with the big fans going. We mostly do small parts and custom jobs for other businesses nearby. Our hands stay dirty from the oil and grease, but that’s how you know work is getting done. We’ve been in this sector for years. The neighbors don't seem to mind the noise too much, or maybe they just got used to it like we did. We don't have a sales team or a fancy front desk. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back near the machines. It’s a practical place. We focus on the measurements and making sure the metal is cut the right way. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it ourselves. It’s frustrating but part of the routine. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders as they come in. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. There is usually a layer of dust on everything, but we don't mind it much as long as the tools work.
