Milling

We are based over in Sector 10. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. When we first started Milling, we didn't really have a big plan other than just getting the work done. The space we have is functional. It’s got everything we need to handle the daily tasks, even if it’s not the most modern-looking office you’ll ever see. We tend to focus on the day-to-day stuff. A lot of our time is spent just making sure things are moving along correctly. We don’t have a front desk person or anything like that, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. It’s a bit informal, but it works for us. Sector 10 is a good spot because it’s easy to get to, and there are enough shops around for lunch. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we moved in. Some people might find our way of doing things a bit old-fashioned, but we prefer it that way. No need for fancy software or complicated systems when a simple notebook and some hard work do the trick. We just show up every morning and see what needs to be handled. It's a small team, so we all know each other's habits by now. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work and we are happy to be doing it here. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things that need doing before the sun goes down.
