Ksc Engineers is located at B-31 in Sector 65. It’s a pretty standard spot in the neighborhood. We spend most of our time looking at drawings or messing around with parts that need fixing. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and a few computers that we probably should have updated a few years ago. There’s usually a pile of blueprints on someone’s desk and the sound of machines humming in the background. We don't really do big fancy meetings. Usually, if something needs to be discussed, we just stand around the workbench and talk it out. It gets dusty, and sometimes the power goes out, which is a pain, but we have a generator that kicks in eventually. It’s mostly local guys working here. We know the tea stall around the corner better than we know our own kitchens sometimes. Work comes in, we figure out how to make it work, and then it goes out. It’s practical stuff. We don't use big words or pretend to be something we aren't. If you walk into B-31, you’ll probably see someone with grease on their hands or someone squinting at a screen. We've been in Sector 65 long enough that we don’t even notice the traffic anymore. It’s just how it is. We keep the doors open when it's nice out and try to stay cool when it isn't. We’ve got a few potted plants that someone brought in to cheer the place up, but they mostly look a bit thirsty. It's not that we don't care, we just get busy with the work.
