Syam Engineers Food Process

Our workshop is based at F-376 in Sector 63, Noida. It’s an industrial part of the city, so there are always sounds of machinery and trucks in the air. We focus on engineering for the food processing industry. The main floor is where everything happens, and it’s usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of cutting oil. We started this place with just a few basic tools and have slowly added more machines as the years went by. It is not a clean or quiet office environment. We wear our work clothes and usually have grease on our hands by noon. Upstairs, we have a small mezzanine where we keep the computer for the drawings and the paperwork. It’s a bit cramped up there, but it gets the job done. We don't have a big HR department or anyone to write slogans for us. We just build things that work. Most of our team lives nearby and we've been working together for a long time. When the weather is nice, we sit outside on some plastic chairs for our lunch break. Sector 63 gets really crowded during the evening rush hour, so we often stay a little late to finish up a project rather than sitting in traffic. It’s an honest shop where we just focus on the machines we are building. We don't have a lot of time for anything else but the engineering.
