Surya Namak

Surya Namak is situated at G-75/B along the Shaheen Bagh Noida Road, near Kalindi Kunj. This area is always moving with traffic going towards Noida. Our place is basically a storage and distribution point for salt. We have large sacks piled up high against the walls. Salt is heavy and moving the bags around is hard work. The air inside the warehouse feels a bit different because of all the salt. We don't have any decorations on the walls or a nice office. It’s just a practical space for holding the stock before it goes out. The road outside is often dusty and loud with the sounds of big trucks passing by Kalindi Kunj. We spend our time checking the inventory and making sure the bags are sealed properly. Moisture is a big problem for us, so we have to be careful where we stack things. Most of our work involves loading and unloading. It’s not very glamorous but it’s what we’ve been doing at G-75/B for quite some time. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone needs salt, they usually just know where to find us on the Noida Road. The days are long and we mostly just wait for the next delivery to arrive. It’s a straightforward business with no hidden extras. We just handle the salt.
