SONA Automation Industries

SONA Automation Industries is located at 154, Ecotech 03, in the Udyog Kendra Extn.Ii area of Greater Noida. Since we are in an industrial zone, the buildings are a bit more spread out than in the middle of Delhi. We have more space here to work on automation systems and panels. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but it’s a good place for a factory. The environment is very industrial, with a lot of trucks moving in and out of Ecotech 03 all day. Our building at number 154 is where we assemble things and test out the machines. It is a lot of wiring and technical work. We aren't the type of people to wear suits; we are usually in our work clothes because there is always something to fix or put together. The hall where we work is quite large and we have benches set up for different tasks. Greater Noida can get very quiet at night, but during the day it is full of people working in various industries. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, look at the diagrams, and get to work on the automation parts. It’s a practical place for practical work. We have a small area for tea and lunch where we talk about stuff other than work for a bit before getting back to it.
