Singh Engineering Co. is based at A-66 in Sector 10 of Goutam Budh Nagar. This area is mostly industrial, so we fit right in with the other shops and warehouses on the street. It’s a fairly straightforward place. We have a large gate that stays open during the day, letting in whatever breeze might be blowing through the sector. Inside, the layout is pretty basic. We have our main working area and a small corner with a couple of chairs for when people stop by to discuss a job. There isn't any air conditioning, so we rely on the big industrial fans that make a lot of noise. The walls are a bit dusty and have some old calendars hanging on them from years ago. We focus on the engineering side of things, dealing with parts and repairs that keep other businesses running. It’s a no-nonsense atmosphere where people show up in their work clothes and stay until the job is done. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; most people just know we’re here at A-66. Sometimes the sector gets quiet in the evenings, but during the day, it's all about the clatter of tools and the sound of the delivery vans. It’s just a regular engineering shop doing regular work for the people in the area without any extra fuss.
