Our workshop is at A19 in Sector 57. It’s an industrial area, so don’t expect anything fancy when you visit. Om Engineering has been operating from this plot for quite some time. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there’s always the smell of grease and burnt oil in the air. We do a lot of fabrication and repair work here. Most days are spent hunched over a lathe or welding bits of steel together. It’s loud, and you usually have to shout to be heard over the grinders. We have a small office corner with a desk that’s piled high with blueprints and old invoices. We don’t really follow a strict 9-to-5 schedule; if a job needs to be finished, we stay until it’s done. The guys working here are good at what they do, even if they aren't wearing clean uniforms. We deal with a lot of local businesses that need parts fixed or machines built. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific tool for an hour because someone didn't put it back. It’s a bit chaotic, but we know where everything is. The tea boy comes by twice a day, and those are the only breaks we really take. It’s honest work and we take pride in getting the dimensions right, even if the workshop looks like a mess to an outsider.
