Shams Engineering Works

We've been over at Patiala House Court for a while now, specifically at 159-160 India Gate. It's an engineering workshop, mostly. We deal with the usual repairs and fabrication things that come through the door. The shop isn't fancy, just a workspace where we get things done. It gets pretty busy around here because of the location, but we manage to keep up with the jobs people bring us. Mostly, it's just a few of us working with the machines and making sure the parts fit right. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just find us because they need something fixed or made and they happen to be in the area. Engineering work is mostly just about being precise and having the right tools for the job, which we've gathered over the years. Sometimes it’s noisy, and there’s usually some grease around, but that’s just how a workshop is. We try to be fair with how we work and just focus on the task at hand. It's a straightforward setup. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the workshop floor and the tools we use every day. If someone comes in with a sketch or a broken part, we take a look and see what can be done. It’s what we do. We just keep the hammers moving and the lathes spinning until the day is over.
