The Furniture Republic

The Furniture Republic is located at A-228 in Sector-83. It’s a massive space because you need a lot of room when you’re dealing with tables, chairs, and beds. The sector is mostly warehouses and factories, so there aren't many places to grab a nice lunch, but we make do with what’s nearby. The building is basically a big shell with concrete floors and high ceilings. It gets quite dusty because of all the trucks moving in and out of the area. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space for new arrivals. It’s heavy work and you definitely need a pair of sturdy boots to get through the day. We don’t have a fancy front desk or a receptionist; you just walk in and find one of us among the stacks of crates. Some days it’s freezing inside and other days it’s like an oven, but that’s just life in an industrial sector. We keep track of everything on a clipboard and a basic computer system. It’s not a polished lifestyle, but it’s honest work. We spend a lot of time checking the finishes on the wood and making sure nothing got scratched during the move. It’s just us here, doing the heavy lifting and making sure the inventory stays organized. We don't have any big corporate slogans, just a lot of work to do before the sun goes down.
