Kokkena Furniture

Kokkena Furniture is tucked away near Bal Shagar Public School in Village Gijhore, right in Sector-52. It’s a bit of a local spot. You can usually hear the sound of saws or hammers if you’re walking nearby. We’ve got wood stacked up in the corners and sawdust on the floor most of the time. It’s a workshop first and a showroom second. We spend most of our hours measuring things and putting pieces together. We aren't a big chain store with bright lights and salesmen in suits. It’s just us and the tools. We’ve been in Gijhore for quite a while now, and we know the neighbors pretty well. People stop by to ask for a repair or a new table, and we just see what we can do. Some days the wood doesn’t cooperate or we run out of a specific type of glue, and that slows us down. It’s honest work, though. We like the smell of the workshop, even if it gets a bit dusty. We don’t have a big corporate story. We just started making furniture because we liked building things. Now it’s our job. We show up early, drink some tea, and get to work.
