Gr Furnishing

If you look for us at F 443 in Sector 63, Gautam Budha Nagar, you will find us surrounded by rolls of fabric and stacks of cushions. This is Gr Furnishing. We spend our days measuring out cloth and looking at different patterns for curtains and sofas. It’s a dusty job sometimes because of all the lint and thread that flies around when we’re cutting things. The shop is filled with the sound of scissors and the occasional sewing machine hum. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique with bright lights and mirrors. It’s more of a workshop feel here. People come in wanting to fix up their living rooms or find a specific color of fabric that doesn't show dirt too easily. We’ve got samples tucked into every corner. Sometimes the place looks a bit messy with scraps on the floor, but that’s just how it goes when you’re actually working. We talk to people about what they need and try to find something that fits their budget. Sector 63 is a big area with a lot of industrial stuff, but we keep our focus on the fabrics. It’s nice to see a plain room get a bit of color once the new curtains go up. We just keep at it, one roll of cloth at a time, making sure things are cut straight and the seams are tight enough to hold.
