Ujjwal Engineering

Ujjwal Engineering is located at B-106. It’s a fairly small space, but we’ve managed to fit all our machinery inside. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work, mostly fixing parts or making things to order for local shops. It’s just a few of us here. The lighting isn't the best, especially in the corners, so we use a lot of desk lamps. We’ve got a workbench that’s seen better days, but it’s sturdy enough for the heavy stuff we do. Most of our day is spent measuring things and using the lathe. It can get pretty loud when all the machines are running at once, so we don't talk much while we're working. We aren't a big firm with a front desk or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our overalls working on something. We keep a logbook on a messy desk to track what we’ve done. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here at B-106. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job if a customer is in a hurry. It’s just how we operate. We’ve been doing this for years and like the practical side of making things work. It’s dusty and there’s metal shavings on the floor, but it’s where we feel most at home.
