Our workshop is located at D-29 in Sector 6. It is a decent spot, a bit quieter than the main commercial markets. We do engineering work here, focusing on fabrication and various types of repairs. The shop is filled with lathes, welding gear, and stacks of raw metal. It is just a small group of us who like fixing things and creating parts from scratch. We do not have a big office space, just a tiny desk in the corner where we keep the bills and the phone. Most of our time is spent at the workbenches. Sector 6 is easy to navigate once you know the block numbers. We have been here for a good while, so we are on friendly terms with most of the other shop owners nearby. It is a very practical, no-nonsense setup. We take on all sorts of projects, some big and some very small. You will not find any glossy brochures or fancy displays here. We usually just show people whatever we are working on at the moment. The floor is almost always covered in metal shavings by the end of the shift. We try to keep it tidy, but it is a working shop, so it gets messy again pretty quickly. When a local factory has a machine break down, they often give us a call to see if we can fix the part. We do not have a large staff, just enough people to keep the work moving along. It is a place that smells of oil and hard work.
