S. P. Engineering Works

S. P. Engineering Works has been operating out of E-39 in Sector-9 for a long time. This part of the sector is mostly workshops and small factories, so there is always the sound of machines running nearby. Our place is pretty much like the others on this block. We have got our lathes and welding gear set up inside. It is usually quite dark inside because we keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool, but we have got enough light to see what we are doing on the bench. We do a lot of metal work and fixing parts that people bring in from other factories nearby. It is greasy work and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. There is no front office or anyone to greet you with a smile, you just walk in and find one of us near the machines. We deal with a lot of heavy iron and steel pieces. Sometimes the floor gets cluttered with scrap metal, but we clear it out when it gets too much. We have been in Sector-9 long enough to know the other shop owners and where to get a decent cup of tea in the afternoon. It is just a regular engineering shop doing regular work for local folks and businesses. We do not try to make it look like something it is not. It is just a place where things get made or fixed using tools that have seen a lot of use over the years.
