Roots Cooling Systems is based in Noida, over in the Hosiery Complex in Phase II. It’s a pretty industrial area, and we’ve been at B-53 for quite a long time now. Working with cooling systems means we are always dealing with fans, motors, and lots of metal parts. The summer months in Uttar Pradesh are no joke, so we are usually kept very busy by the heat. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at, but it’s where we do all the assembly and testing. Most of our staff live nearby or commute from other parts of Noida. We have a routine that we stick to every day. Coffee in the morning, then checking the production schedule to see what needs to go out. We try to keep things simple here. If a part isn’t right, we fix it ourselves. There isn't a lot of talk about strategy; we just focus on the cooling units we need to get out the door. The factory floor can get loud with all the tools going, but you get used to it after a while. Sometimes we have visitors coming in to check on their orders, and we just show them around the floor without any fuss. It’s a practical way to run things. We’ve been part of the Hosiery Complex community for years, seeing other businesses come and go while we just keep doing our thing. It feels like a second home to most of us by now and we enjoy the work.
