R.K. Mobile Repair is my shop in Khora Colony, located at A24/126 in New Kondali Phase-III. It is a very busy area with lots of houses and shops squeezed together. My shop is no different. It is quite small, and I have filled every inch of it with spare parts, tools, and old phones that I use for scrap. I have a glass counter where I display some second-hand phones I’ve fixed up for sale. Most of the time, I am hunched over my desk working on a logic board or trying to pry open a stubborn tablet. The lighting is okay, but I use a headlamp sometimes when I need to see really close. People in Khora know me as the guy who can usually find a way to make an old phone work for another few months. I don’t promise miracles, just that I will try my best. The noise from the street is constant—horns, people shouting, and music from the nearby shops. You get used to it after a while. I have a small stool for customers, but most just stand and watch me work. It makes me a bit nervous when they stare too closely while I am handling tiny parts. I’ve been at this address for a good while now. It’s a tough way to make a living sometimes, but it’s steady. I just keep my head down and work on whatever comes through the door.
