You can find us in Gali No 1 over in Sector 15 Naya Bans. It’s a narrow little street, and our shop isn't much bigger than a closet, but we manage to fit a lot in there. I spend most of my day hunched over a workbench with a tiny screwdriver in my hand. Whether it's a phone with a cracked screen or an old watch that stopped ticking years ago, I try to take a look. My eyes get a bit tired from looking at those small parts all day. The shelves are filled with little plastic bins of screws, batteries, and spare glass. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly, but I usually know where everything is. People drop off their stuff and chat for a bit while I work. Sometimes the parts don’t arrive when they should, and I have to tell people to come back the next day. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have a small fan that rattles in the corner. Being here in Naya Bans, you see everyone walking by. I’ve seen the same faces for years. Some people bring in watches that belonged to their grandfathers, and those are the ones I really have to be careful with. Suraj Telecom is just a place where we try to fix what’s broken. It's nothing more than that, really. We just do the work.
