Barola is a busy spot. If you’ve been to the Noida Main Market here in Sector 49, you probably passed by us already. Prakash Communication & Mobile Repairing Centre is right in the middle of all that noise. We spend most of our day under those magnifying lamps looking at tiny chips and circuits. My eyes get tired by the evening. We fix a lot of broken glass. People drop their phones on the metro or just on the road. It happens. We also sell recharge vouchers and small things like earphones. The cheap ones sell the most because people lose them all the time. The shop isn't very large. We have a small counter and some stools for customers to wait on. Sometimes they have to stand outside because it gets cramped in here. We’ve been in Barola for a good while now. We know the local shopkeepers around Sector 49. It’s a good community. We don't use any big machines, just the basic soldering irons and screwdrivers. If a phone is too far gone, we say so. No point wasting someone’s money on a lost cause. Most people just want their WhatsApp back and their family photos saved. We try to help with that. It's steady work. Some days are slow, and some days we can't even take a lunch break. That's just how the market works here in Noida. We just keep at it.
