Located at Sector 2 A - 60, Peak Adventure Tour Pvt Ltd is where we spend our time thinking about mountains and trails. The office doesn't look like a typical business space. There are trekking poles leaning in the corners and old rucksacks sitting on top of the cupboards. It smells a bit like canvas and old maps in here. Most of us who work here would rather be outside, but someone has to stay behind to handle the bookings and talk to the guides. We spend hours checking the weather in the north and making sure the gear we send out is still in good shape. It’s a lot of practical work, like figuring out how much food a group needs or which path is blocked after a landslide. No one here has a polished sales pitch. If a trek is going to be hard, we tell people it’s going to be hard. There’s no point in pretending it’s easy just to get a booking. The tea here is usually too strong, and the desks stay cluttered with topographical maps and permit applications. We’ve been at this address for a while, and people who like the outdoors usually find their way to us eventually. We’re just a group of people who know the trails and try to help others get there safely. It's a bit dusty, but we like the atmosphere. Even on slow days, there is always a pair of boots that needs cleaning or a map that needs folding.
