Our little place is located at E14-B in Sector-8. It is a modest office where we spend most of the day looking at digital maps and booking trips for people who want to go on holiday. There are a few posters of different cities pinned on the walls, mostly to cover up some of the cracks in the old paint. We have been working from this spot for a while now, and most of our neighbors in the building know us by name. It is not a corporate setup with people in suits. We usually just wear whatever is comfortable since we are mostly on the phone or typing away at our desks. The printer jams at least once every afternoon, which gets frustrating when we are trying to hand over a printed itinerary to a customer. We try to keep track of all the flight changes and hotel notes on a big whiteboard. It gets messy and hard to read, but it is how we stay on top of things. Sometimes people just walk in off the street to ask about train times or where to find a good meal in a city they have never been to. We do not mind the chat at all. The coffee machine in the corner is older than some of the staff, and it makes a loud hissing sound, but the coffee tastes okay. Sector-8 is a decent spot to work, even if the traffic outside gets a bit much in the evenings. We just sit here and handle the bookings.
