Naveen Tent House

Our base of operations is at Dwarka, Flat No 1, on Plot No H-2/94 in Mahaveer Enclave, Sector 1. It’s more of a functional space than a showroom. We keep a lot of our equipment here when it isn't out at a job. If you come by, you’ll see piles of fabric, metal poles, and folded chairs everywhere. Tent work is hard and it involves a lot of lifting and carrying. We spend most of our time out in the neighborhood setting up for weddings, religious functions, or birthday parties. It is a small team of us doing the heavy lifting. The weather is always something we have to watch, especially the wind and the rain, which can ruin a setup. We’ve been based in this part of Mahaveer Enclave for a good while. People around here know us and just stop by the flat when they need something for an event. It gets very busy during the wedding season, and we barely have time to sit down. The rest of the year is a bit slower. We don't have any fancy marketing, just the name on our trucks and the work we do in the local parks and houses. It’s a tough way to make a living but we are used to it by now. The office is just a small room with a desk and some old ledgers. Sometimes we sit there and drink tea while we wait for the next call.
