S K Tent House

S K Tent House is right on the Sector 31 Main Road, near Nithari. If you walk down the road, you’ll likely see our trucks parked out front or some of our guys loading up poles and heavy rolls of fabric. We’ve been handling events around this part of town for years. It’s a lot of manual labor, and our hands are usually a bit dirty from the ropes and the ground. We store the big tents and the seating in the back, and the front area is where we talk to people about their plans. Whether it’s a small gathering or a bigger community thing, we just grab our gear and head out. The weather is our biggest boss; if it's too windy or hot, it makes the setup take twice as long. We don't use any fancy computer programs to plan things out, just a notebook and some measurements. People usually know where to find us because we’ve been at the same spot for so long. The traffic on the Main Road is always loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. We share the space with our equipment, so it’s a bit cramped, but it works for what we need. We just focus on getting the structures up so they don't fall down and making sure there are enough chairs for everyone. It’s hard work, but seeing a finished setup at night makes it worth it. We just keep moving and doing what the next job requires.
