Kaypee Tent House & Caterers

We've been here in Sector 36 for quite some time now. Dealing with tents and food is what we do day in and day out at 3/169. It gets busy, especially when there’s a big event nearby or someone has a wedding at their house. We spend most of our mornings checking the fabric and making sure the kitchen stuff is clean and ready to go. The neighborhood knows us pretty well because we're always loading or unloading trucks right outside the shop. Sometimes the weather makes things tricky, like when it rains suddenly and we have to move fast, but that's just how the business goes. We have a small crew that has stayed with us for years. They know where everything is kept and how to set things up without me having to say much. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that, just a workspace where we get things done. People stop by to talk about their dates and what kind of setup they need. We usually sit down with a cup of tea and figure out the logistics on a piece of paper. Most of our work comes from people living around here who've seen us at other parties. We keep the poles and the curtains in the back, and the catering equipment stays on the other side. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy things and standing for long hours, but it keeps us busy. We just try to make sure everything gets there on time.
