Babbar Tent And Light House

If you've lived in Sector 12 for a while, you probably know how much work goes into setting up for a big gathering. That is basically what we do at Babbar Tent And Light House. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading trucks with heavy poles, folded fabric, and boxes of wiring. Our storage space is over in block 3, and it stays pretty busy most weekends. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly it involves a lot of sweat and making sure everything is tied down properly so the wind doesn't catch it. We have all kinds of tents, from the simple ones for a small backyard thing to the much bigger setups for weddings. The lighting is the other half of it. We spend hours untangling fairy lights and checking bulbs before we head out to a site. It gets pretty chaotic during the peak season when everyone seems to be having a party at the same time. We’ve got a small crew that has been with us for years. They know exactly where every pole goes without even looking at a plan. We don't really use fancy booking systems; we just write things down in the big ledger and make sure we show up when we said we would. It’s a lot of physical labor, but it’s what we know. We just try to get the job done right so the event can happen for the families.
