Vijay Tent & Light House

We are right in the middle of the Sector 5 Main Market. It’s a loud and lively place to be. We’ve got all our tents, poles, and decorative lights stored here. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things in and out of the shop. Most of the time, our stuff is out at some venue or another. If you come by the shop, you might see us mending a tear in a tent cloth or testing out some fairy lights to make sure none of the bulbs are out. We’ve been serving the local area for years. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Everything is stacked up ready to go. On the weekends, it gets really hectic because everyone wants their setups done at the same time. We just do our best to stay on schedule. The market traffic makes it hard to move the trucks sometimes, but we’ve learned the shortcuts. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just provide the cover and the light for people’s gatherings. It’s simple work but it keeps us on our feet. We like being part of the market buzz. It’s been our home for a long time and we know almost all the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes the weather gets bad and we have to rush to take things down, but that's just part of the job.
