Monu Engineering Works

We've been here at G-87 in Sector 9 for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of all the other workshops around us. Monu Engineering Works is basically what the name says. We handle a lot of metal work and repair stuff that comes through the door. Some days the machines never stop humming, and it gets pretty loud in here, especially when we have a big order to finish. The floor is always covered in iron shavings, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the way it is when you’re cutting and welding all day long. My hands are usually stained with grease by noon, but that’s part of the job. People from around the sector know where to find us. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just some heavy benches, our tools, and the machines. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside for a bit until the generator kicks in or the lights come back. We just try to get the work done as it comes. It’s not a glamorous business but it keeps us busy. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we know how each other thinks. We just open up early, do the jobs people bring us, and head home when the sun goes down. That's pretty much life at our shop in Sector 9. We keep it simple and stay focused on the metal.
