Modern Engineering Works

Modern Engineering Works is located at B-47, Sec-10. It is a small shop where we spend most of our time fixing things or making parts. The name says modern, but some of our tools have been with us for a long time and they still work just fine. We do not have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, someone is just out back working on a machine or moving some metal around. If the door is open, we are probably inside. It gets pretty oily and dusty in there, which is normal for an engineering place. We deal with metal and repairs mostly. Sometimes it is quiet, and other times every machine is running at once. We like the location in Sec-10 because it is easy to get to for the people we usually work with. There is no big secret to how we do things. We take the specs, cut the metal, and hope the customer is happy with the result. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the parts fit like they should. If you drop by, you might have to wait a minute for someone to wipe their hands and come talk to you. That is just the way it is here at B-47. We keep busy and try to stay organized, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. It is just a regular job for us.
