You can find us at P-16 in Sector 18. This is a very busy part of the city and it feels like there's never a quiet moment. We spend our shifts mostly behind the counter or back in the kitchen area. There is a lot of beeping from the machines telling us when the fries are done or when the meat needs flipping. It’s a fast environment and we have to keep moving to keep up with the orders. We wear the uniforms and try to keep the tables wiped down as soon as people leave. At P-16, we get a mix of office workers, shoppers, and teenagers. It’s just a regular Mcdonald'S. We don't have any special stories to tell. We just follow the steps we were taught. Sometimes the ice cream machine needs a break and we have to tell people it's not working. The lobby can get really loud when it's full. We spend a lot of time refilling the ketchup dispensers and making sure there are enough napkins out. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we stay busy. We see the same delivery drivers all day long. When the shift ends, our feet usually ache. We lock up late and make sure the grills are off. Then we start the whole process again the next morning. It’s just about getting the food out fast and keeping the place somewhat organized for whoever walks through the door.
