Maa Vaishno Communication

Maa Vaishno Communication is a small shop over in Nangla Charan Dass, Phase II. It is one of those places where you can get your phone recharged or buy a new SIM card when yours stops working. I have been here for a bit, and the area is always crowded with people living and working nearby. The shop is not much to look at from the outside. It is just a small room with a glass counter and some posters for different mobile networks on the walls. We have a few drawers full of old cables and chargers that people might need. It gets really busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they ran out of data or their phone is acting up. The space is small, so if three people are inside, it feels full. Sometimes the electricity goes out, which is a pain, but we have a small backup to keep the lights on. I spend a lot of time explaining things to older people who are not sure how to use their new smartphones. It is a simple life. I open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first customer. Nangla Charan Dass is a lively neighborhood, so there is always something happening on the street to keep me entertained during slow hours.
