Walking into our place in Sector 3, you will see a lot of boxes and plastic wraps everywhere. Even though the name sounds a bit formal, we are just a bunch of people who enjoy working with phone parts and accessories. The office is tucked away and sometimes it feels like we are living among the chargers and headphones. We have been here for a while now and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. My cousin helps out with the inventory and I handle the people who walk in with questions. It is a lot of counting items and making sure we have enough screen guards for the newer models that come out every month. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is good because Sector 3 gets quite hot in the summer. We keep a small kettle in the back for making coffee when the afternoon slump hits. It is not the kind of place where you find fancy displays or soft music. It is more about getting the boxes moved and making sure the right accessory gets to the right person. We talk to a lot of delivery drivers and shopkeepers from the nearby blocks. It is a steady rhythm that we have fallen into over the years. We just keep the doors open and keep moving the stock as it comes in.
