Lakshaman Tents House & Sports Centre

We are located at Sector 93 Bhangel, right in that busy stretch near Ph-2 and Sec-110 on Gehja Road. It’s a spot where there is always something going on outside. We have been here for a long time, running Lakshaman Tents House & Sports Centre. It is a bit of an unusual mix having tents and sports gear in one place but it works for us. When it is wedding season, we are out all day and night setting up the big tents and arranging all the chairs. The storage is packed with heavy cloth and metal poles that we haul around. Then on the other side of the shop, we have the sports stuff. Kids from the neighborhood come in looking for cricket bats or a new football. The Gehja Road traffic is usually loud, and the dust from the road comes inside, so we are always cleaning the glass counters. It is just a few of us working here. We don't have anything fancy, just a regular shop where people know they can find us. Sometimes we sit out front when it is quiet and watch the people going toward Phase 2. We have seen the area grow so much over the years. Sector 93 is much busier now than it used to be. We just try to get the work done and keep the shop going every day. It’s a lot of physical work, especially with the heavy tent equipment, but we are used to it by now.
