Kalpana Kala Kendra

Kalpana Kala Kendra is our small art center located in Sector 11, at L101. It’s a quiet spot where we focus on various forms of art and traditional crafts. We’ve been in this particular sector for quite a while, and the L101 address is well-known to the people who live around here. The space is filled with all sorts of materials, from paints and brushes to different types of clay and fabrics. It’s not the most organized place, but we think a bit of a mess is just part of being creative. We don't have a fancy showroom or a professional reception desk. Instead, you’ll usually find us sitting on the floor or at a worn-out wooden table working on something new. Most of our days are spent teaching or just practicing our own crafts. We like the slow pace of Sector 11, as it gives us the time we need to really concentrate on the details of our work. People often drop by just to look at what we’ve made or to ask questions about how we do things. We don't do much in the way of promotion; the work we do usually speaks for itself among the locals. It’s a simple, quiet life centered around art, and we wouldn't want it any other way.
