Micheal Arts

Being based in Noida means there is always something going on around the shop. Micheal Arts is a place where things are always a bit messy, mostly because of the paints and the materials we use every day. We don't have a huge corporate office or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps of paper or bits of wood from framing projects. We’ve been doing this for a bit now, and you can see the marks of it on the walls where we’ve tested colors or jotted down measurements. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask about different projects or just to see what we are working on at the moment. The light coming through the windows in the afternoon is nice, but it also shows all the dust in the air. We keep a few stools around for when we need to sit down and focus on the smaller details. Noida is a big city, but our corner feels a bit more personal because we know the people who walk past our door every morning. We don't go in for big speeches about what we do. We just turn up, put on our aprons, and start working on whatever is on the table that day. It's a quiet kind of life, even with all the noise from the street outside. We usually have a bit of music playing from an old phone to keep the energy up while we work.
