Kakkar Engineering Works

Kakkar Engineering Works is located in Sector 63, specifically Phase 3, at B 74. If you know Noida, you know this sector is packed with all sorts of engineering shops and small factories. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the blocks and phases, but we’ve been here long enough that we don’t get lost anymore. The building is a simple one, nothing too modern, just a place that works for what we do. Every morning we roll up the shutters and get to it. You can hear the metal clanging and the sounds of tools being used from the street. It is a very hands-on environment. Most of the guys have been working here for years and they know exactly where everything is kept. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in greasy overalls before you find a desk. We just try to get the orders finished on time. The power goes out sometimes, which is typical for this area, so we just work around it. Lunch is usually shared among the staff in the small back room. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We take pride in the fact that we can fix things that others might find difficult. It’s just honest engineering work day in and day out. We don't put on an act for anyone who walks in the door; what you see is what you get.
