K.D. Foods Specialities

Our shop is K.D. Foods Specialities. We are located at Plot Number 46 in the Mahila Udami Park. That is over in Gautam Budh Nagar. It is a dedicated space for women entrepreneurs, which we think is a great place to be. We spend our time processing and packing different food items. The air usually smells like spices or whatever we are working on that day. It is a lot of manual work. We have a few machines, but a lot of it is done by hand to make sure it is right. We are not a giant factory with conveyor belts that go for miles. It is just a small unit where we pay attention to what we are putting in the bags. We started this because we wanted to create something of our own. The park is a supportive place to work. We know most of our neighbors. Our office is just a small corner with a desk and a computer for keeping track of the inventory. We do not have a team of people doing social media. Most of our sales come from local shops that know our quality. It gets busy during the festival seasons. We stay late to make sure all the orders go out on time. It is tiring, but seeing the finished products ready to go makes us feel good. We just focus on making things that we would be happy to eat ourselves.
