Jai Engineering is tucked away in Sector 19, specifically at B 125/B. If you walk past our doors, you’ll probably hear the sound of a lathe or someone grinding something down. It’s not a big operation, just a few of us here trying to keep things moving. We’ve stayed in this spot because it's convenient and the neighbors are alright. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work. Usually, it's just parts for bigger machines or custom bits that someone couldn't find anywhere else. The workbench stays cluttered because there is always a new project starting before the old one is even out the door. We don't have a receptionist or anyone to answer phones in a fancy way. If the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands on a rag and picks it up. Some days are slower than others, but there is always maintenance to do on our own equipment. We like the grit and the smell of the shop. It feels real. We’ve seen other shops come and go in Sector 19, but we just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when a customer is in a hurry, but that’s just the nature of this business. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just take the measurements, cut the material, and try to get it right the first time. It’s simple work for people who need it.
