Our workshop is over at A-4 in Sector 57, right in the middle of the industrial area where things are always moving. If you’ve ever walked past our gate, you probably heard the sound of grinding or seen the sparks from the welding machines. It is a messy job, but someone has to do it. We deal with a lot of metal here every day. Some days we are working on big frames and other days it is just small parts that people need fixed up quickly. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, even though we try to sweep up every evening before heading home. Sector 57 can get pretty dusty, and the heat inside the shed during summer is no joke. We mostly just drink a lot of tea and keep the fans running. It’s not a glamorous place with fancy office chairs or anything like that. We have some old desks in the corner where we keep the papers and the tea kettle. Most of our guys have been with us for years, so we all know how the machines sound when they are acting up. It gets pretty loud when three or four people are working at once, but that is just the sound of things getting built. We don't spend much time talking about what we do, we just get the orders finished and move on to the next one. It works for us and keeps the bills paid.
