Hora Art Centre is out here in Village Barua. It’s a quiet spot near the Palikhurd post office in Etawah. People mostly know us as the place where things get made by hand. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The roads get a bit dusty in the summer, but we keep the doors open. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where the art happens. Sometimes the local kids stop by to see what we are doing. We mostly focus on the work itself and don't spend much time talking about it on the internet. Uttar Pradesh is where we are from and it's where we stay. If you come looking for us, just ask around the post office and someone will point you to the right corner of the village. We handle a lot of different pieces and the materials are usually stacked up in the back room. It can get a bit messy during the busy weeks but that's just how a workshop looks. We are part of the daily life here in the village. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up and do what we do every morning. It’s a simple way to run things and it works for us. We don't have a website that looks professional or anything, we just focus on the pieces we are creating here in India.
