Frontier Biscuit

If you walk around the Alpha Commercial Belt in Noida, you’ll eventually find us at 7 B 5. Frontier Biscuit is a name people usually know because of the smell. It’s hard to ignore the scent of baking when the fresh batches come in. We spend most of our time stacking boxes and making sure the jars are full of different types of biscuits and rusks. The Alpha belt is always moving, lots of office folks and families walking by, especially in the evenings when the weather is a bit nicer. We don't have a lot of fancy seating or anything like that. It’s mostly just shelves and the counter. People come in for their regular tea-time snacks, usually grabbing the same thing every week. We know a lot of the faces by now. Sometimes someone wants to try something new, so we show them what just arrived. It’s a simple business, really. We pack things up, tie the strings on the boxes, and hand them over. The floor gets a bit dusty with flour sometimes, but that’s just part of the job. On rainy days, it’s a bit slower, but then everyone wants biscuits for their chai at home. We just keep the shop open and keep the stock moving. It’s a decent way to spend the day, talking to neighbors and selling something people actually enjoy eating.
