Classical Machine Tools

We've been at 49-B New Arya Nagar for quite a while now. You'll find us right behind the Shiva Scooter Agency, which is how most people actually locate the shop. It’s a busy little area, and we’re usually tucked away working on various machine tools. It isn't a very fancy place, just a workshop where we spend our days getting our hands dirty. We deal with things like lathes and grinders, and there's always a bit of grease and metal shavings around. My brother and I started this because we liked working with our hands, and it just grew from there. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist; if you come by, you’ll probably just find one of us under a machine or moving some parts around. The noise from the street can get loud, but we don't mind it much anymore. People in the neighborhood know us as the guys who can fix just about any tool that's acting up. We don't bother with fancy ads or big signs. Most of our work comes from people who have been coming here for years. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we like the independence of it. We have our tea in the morning, look at the jobs for the day, and just get started. It’s honest, practical work, and we plan to keep at it as long as the machines are still running.
