Big Bite

Azadpur is a place that never sleeps, especially with the big fruit market nearby. Big Bite is located at Kewal Park Extension, specifically at number 21. It’s a bit away from the main madness of the mandi, which is nice. I usually walk to work because the traffic is just too much. The shop is small, but it’s enough for us. We have a couple of tables and a counter. I like the people around Kewal Park. They’re mostly working-class folks who appreciate a decent meal. We’ve been at Extension 21 for a few years now. I remember when we first moved in, the walls were bare. Now we have all our stuff everywhere. It feels lived in. Sometimes the plumbing acts up, or the fridge makes a weird noise, but that’s just part of owning a business. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. No fancy menus or complicated names here. Just Big Bite. My wife helps me with the accounts in the evenings. It’s a family thing, really. The street outside can get pretty dusty with all the construction going on lately. They’re always digging up something in Delhi. We just keep the door half-closed to keep the dirt out. It’s a simple routine, day in and day out. We like it that way.
