Bhatti Engineering Works

Bhatti Engineering Works is tucked away at B-56 in Sector-10. If you walk past our gate on any given weekday, you’ll probably hear the constant sound of lathes turning or someone grinding down a piece of steel. We’ve been operating from this same spot for a long time, and the walls are covered in a layer of shop dust that never seems to go away no matter how much we sweep. It’s a very practical space with no frills. We don’t have a receptionist or a proper waiting room for visitors. Usually, if someone comes by to see us, they just walk straight to the back where the actual work is happening. We handle a lot of different jobs, mostly things that require a bit of manual tweaking and some old-fashioned elbow grease. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to figure out how to get it running again with whatever tools are handy. It isn't always pretty, but we manage to get the job done. My hands are usually stained with oil by ten in the morning, and that’s just a normal day for us. We keep a pot of tea going in the corner because the guys need a break every now and then to sit on the plastic chairs and rest. We don’t spend much time talking about business strategy or anything like that. We just look at the drawings, set the tools, and get to cutting the metal. Sector-10 has changed a lot since we moved in, but our shop feels pretty much the same as it did years ago.
