Balaji Stationery & Mobiles

We are located in Sector 18 at Savitri Market, right at G 17. Our shop is a bit of a mix because we do both stationery and mobile stuff. It sounds like an odd combination to some, but it works for us. On one side of the shop, you have notebooks, pens, and staplers, and on the other side, we have mobile phones and all the accessories that go with them. It started out as just a stationery shop, but then everyone kept asking for phone chargers and repairs, so we just added that in. It makes for a busy day because one minute I am helping a kid pick out a pencil box and the next I am trying to fix a software issue on a smartphone. The market here is always buzzing, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. Our shop is quite narrow, so we have to be very organized with how we stack the paper and the electronics. Sometimes the smell of new notebooks mixes with the smell of warm plastic from the lamination machine. We don't have a lot of space for sitting, but people don't seem to mind leaning against the counter while they wait. It’s a simple life in Sector 18, and we like being the place where you can get a pen and a phone repair at the same time. We just keep it moving.
