We are over at Shop Number 4 in the Sumit Complex. It’s right there in the Baisla Market in Sector 66. If you know the market, you know it gets pretty packed, especially on the weekends. We’ve been here since the complex was relatively new. It’s not a huge space, just enough for the equipment and a couple of desks where we keep the paperwork. Usually, the paperwork is buried under some parts we’re working on. Sector 66 has grown up around us. We remember when there were more empty lots than buildings. Now, there’s always something happening outside the door. The market has everything, so we never have to go far for lunch or a spare bulb. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. That’s just part of life here. We don’t do a lot of talking about what we do; we just do it. People come in with things that need fixing or parts they need made, and we see what we can manage. It’s a small team, just a few of us who know the machines inside out. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy to get attention. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they were already in the Baisla Market for something else. It’s a steady rhythm, day in and day out, just keeping the machines turning and the shop open.
