You can find us at G-299 in Gamma II, which is a bit of a different area compared to the main industrial sectors. We specialize in cutting tools, so the shop is full of sharp edges and precision equipment. We have to be careful how we handle everything so nobody gets hurt and the tools don't get dull. It’s a clean enough place, though there’s always a bit of metal shavings on the floor by the end of the shift. At Accusharp, we just focus on the task at hand. We get orders from various factories nearby that need specific types of blades or cutters. Some of the machines we use are quite old but they still work better than the new ones for certain jobs. We have a small office area where we take the calls and do the billing, but most of the action happens in the back. It gets pretty hot in Gamma II during the summer, so we have a few big fans going all the time. We aren’t really into big marketing pushes; we just hope that if we do the job right, people will come back next time they need a tool sharpened or replaced. It’s a steady kind of life, working with our hands and making sure the measurements are right. We close up around six usually and head home to get some rest for the next day.
