A & M International

We are located right in the middle of the Cloth Market at Laxmi Bazar. Our shop is 4757/A and it’s up on the first floor. Being in Fatehpuri means it’s always crowded and noisy, but that’s just the way it goes here. A & M International has been in this spot for quite a bit. It’s a small space, mostly filled with samples and rolls of paper for the accounts. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. We hear the shouts of the vendors downstairs all day long. It's a lively place to work. We spend our time talking to people who come by and sorting through the paperwork for our international bits. It’s not a corporate setup at all. More like a family-run thing where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We’ve got stacks of files everywhere because we haven't quite figured out a better system yet. But it works for us. The market has its own rhythm and we’ve been part of it for long enough that it feels like home. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, from our little corner on the first floor. It gets quite hot in the summer months, but we have a small fan that helps a little bit. We’ve known the neighbors for years and often swap stories during the slower hours.
