Poshanna Tent House

Poshanna Tent House is located at H No 2-77/1 in the SC Colony of Pachalandukuda. This is in the Velpur area of Nizamabad. If you come by, you will likely see piles of metal poles and large rolls of colorful cloth stacked up in the yard. Our work is mostly physical. We spend our days loading these things onto trucks and taking them to different spots for events. It is a lot of heavy lifting and tying knots to make sure the tents stay up even if the wind picks up during a storm. The sun in Nizamabad can be very strong, so we get quite tired by the end of the day. We do not have a polished office; it is more of a practical space where all the gear is kept. When there is a wedding or a festival nearby, things get very busy and we are working from early morning until late at night. The cloth needs washing and the poles need checking to make sure they are not bent or broken. People from the colony and the surrounding village know Poshanna and come by when they have something planned. We do not do any big advertising. Word gets around when you do the work properly. It is a tough job but it is what we do. We just make sure the chairs are clean and the shade is set up right so people can enjoy their gatherings together.
