Anu Transport

Operating out of 8-36 Chengal in Bheemgal keeps us on our toes most of the time. Anu Transport isn't some massive corporation with a fleet of thousands; it’s more about the local routes and making sure things get where they need to go without too much fuss. I spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at the logs on my desk. There is always a layer of dust from the road that settles on everything in the office. Our drivers are usually out early, and sometimes I’m still here late at night waiting for a call that a delivery finally made it. The trucks need a lot of looking after, so there’s often someone under a hood or changing a tire nearby. We know the roads around Bheemgal like the back of our hands, including all the spots where the pavement gets bad after the rain. It’s a stressful job sometimes because traffic never does what you want it to, and things break when you least expect it. We just try to keep the wheels turning. Most of the people we work with are neighbors or folks from the nearby villages who have been using us for years. It’s about being reliable and showing up when we say we will. It’s a lot of diesel, coffee, and long hours, but it’s our way of making a living here. We handle the paperwork as it comes and hope the rain doesn't slow things down.
